Sitting back on his heels, he licks the blood from his fingers and lifts his gaze to his fellow Ancient, shrugging a bit. "No one wanted this place," he says. "Easy to make something of nothing. Harder to take it from someone who wants it." And if no one could see the potential the Grounds held, that's their fucking problem, in his opinion.
