Given that there wasn't a shrine to Mort in King's End—one might have expected there to be given the vast burial sites—Delphia and Remi had opted simply to meet in Ludo's Woods instead, as it was the demigoddess' home and a place very familiar to the Lullaby.
Though it was mid-afternoon, the Woods were barren and cold. Snow piled high around the trunks of the trees, muffling some sounds and emphasizing others such that the snapping of a twig could sound like a gunshot whereas a call for help might sound like a far-off bird. It was a dangerous season indeed to be found without supplies amidst trees which often liked to play tricks on those who wandered within, but Remi wasn't terribly concerned. With his wings fanned out to keep the worst of the wind from his face and otherwise bundled with ursur furs, the Lullaby stood by the shrine with a few tokens for Ludo so that the herald wouldn't feel left out.
