A rumble of a chuckle leaves the Flood’s throat, lifting his glass in a small mock toast of agreement to Dantalion’s statement before he takes his own sip. It goes down just as the first had, enough to bolster him in bragging over what his brothel could do, a glimmer of pride flickering across his scarred face before he ends it with a roguish smile.
The blurt sparks another chuckle of laughter and Sunjata’s head tilts slightly as he nods. “Of course I did.” Why wouldn’t he? He was one of their demigods, it simply just… Made sense, right? “They would’ve helped me make it into whatever I wanted it to be, and I had plenty of options, but the room shift seemed… Optimal. Beneficial for everyone.” And a part of him thinks that maybe if he decided when he stepped in, he could show what Korofi was like and try to relive that feeling of living in the past a little bit longer.
But that’s a thought when he gets a bit more drunk, of course. For now, he’s content to brag, content to wear that wolfish grin and sip his whiskey, practically waiting to see if Danta could top it despite knowing that the Maverick couldn't.
