It's been a long time since Danta has come to The Mountain's Roar. Even for a soul as fiery and chaotic as his own, the drum of pounding water has always been soothing, managing to stifle every thought and sound that tries to intrude. He's always thought this would be a perfect place to get murdered, honestly, but it doesn't stop him from indulging in its beauty for a moment.
Sitting on an outcrop of rock to watch the rich crimson spill and froth into the deep, waiting pool, he swings one long leg, the other tucked up so he might rest his chin on his knee. Only a few minutes, and then it's back to work for the Maverick. It's a long, freezing cold road back to the Hollowed Grounds and his newfound seat of power, and were it not for the promise of an ever burning fire on the horizon, he might just stay here forever.
