"..Yeah..." The pair had different upbringings to be sure, but the catchall that was parents struck a chord as resonantly as anything else within Flora. Swallowing, she forces a smile, scrunching her nose in order to give Koa her most admonishing but sunny smile.
Indeed, there's history enough such that the dragoon's response is perhaps all the wittier for finding a way to artfully dodge her question. Rewarding him with another scrunched expression that quickly turns to a bright huff of defeat, Flora has on choice but to shake her head. "Ohh that's right. He's clever with his tongue, too." She says offhandedly as if making a mental note of how best to describe Koa.
As Spice is given the first proper bit of advice in her young life, someone from down the beach is waving their arms to try and get Flora's attention. Turning and frowning, she realizes that it's Everest, yelling something about the tavern. "Of course. He probably needs to know if I want something ordered alphabetically or by alcohol content." Flora mumbles, before turning to Koa.
"Lunch sometime? Don't be a stranger." So saying, she stands on her toes and reaches out for the dragoon's shoulders to both pull him in and steady herself. Placing a friendly kiss on his cheek, she bends to scoop up her dragon (who was still eyeing Pip rather grumpily), and sashayed down the beach towards a fretting Everest Hart.
