Something curls in Koa's chest, heavy and cold and stinking of fear. Reports out of Torchline had been especially worrying, and with what they witnessed the night before...
"Soh... maybe you should stay." Koa's voice, while soft, wavers with fear. Copper eyes dart between her blues, the crease between his brows furrowing deeper. He reaches back for her, large hands gripping her shoulders, as though to anchor here, where things are okay. "It's... it's not safe. What if something happens to you? What will Stormbreak do?"
What will I do? remains unsaid, but there's little in his face to hide the concern.
