Whilst Maea peruses and makes her careful selections, Jack all but swings up and onto the edge of the stall he's interested in, bartering and gesturing and conducting, from the outside at least, some very animated business. The truth of the matter lies between the captain and the merchant, of course, and by the time she's finished, Jack has also gotten what he wanted from the transaction.
