Turned out raising some heat in Jigano's cheeks had made him feel infinitely better. It wasn't a miracle cure, but it had him well on the way towards feeling better, and not just bitter. Some time, grilled magna vermis, and honey beer later, he was, perhaps, ready to be a decent human being again.
Though, he desperately wanted more of the way-too-easy-to-drink beer; he had come to Fiat Lux intending to become a lot more intoxicated than usual, and even if that dark, almost angry, part of him was appeased by the present company, he still wanted more of it. The warmth. The release. Honestly, the only reason he didn't steer Jigano in that direction to pick up another tankard was the fact that he was worried he'd be seen through in about five seconds. For some reason the idea of explaining that he felt like shit and thought alcohol was a good way to cure it had him less than excited.
So he didn't steer them back for more, even though he thought it would be very pleasant to be tipsy enough to loosen up some inhibitions.
Though that might be .. indecent.
Folding a small sigh back into his lungs Rory reached out for Jigano's hand, running the tips of his fingers down his wrist—lightly, lightly—before slotting their fingers together. Holding his hand was grounding. Feeling his skin an electrifying idea that he had no time for right now, not in this place, but he used it to chase some of the shadows from his eyes again.
He leaned closer to Jigano, taking care to not squish Isuma between their shoulders, briefly resting his head against the other as he angled his head back. When he spoke, his breath might drift against Jigano's neck. "So, what now?" he said quietly.

Clothes/style recap, because he's odd today: sort of snug-fitting black wool pants, dark blue shirt with a nice patterned trim, and a bright sash tied around his waist. His hair is done up sort of like feather guy here but less jpop, and his hair is longer.
