To Sam's surprise his companions did not rush to attack but to assist, gently guiding the Golem to a place to call home. Once he had taken a moment to catch his metaphorical breath and calm down he stepped out from behind his hiding place, still invisible, and set about clearing rocks and obstacles from the way of the golem and it's guides in case they could cause any kind of problem.
With his Ascended strength it was relatively easy, and he did not consider how strange it would look for everyone to see the rocks seemingly fly away by themselves.
Eventually he remember Remi had called for him and he made his head and fingers visible, waved in his direction with a small smile.
