She refused to take her gaze from the being in the corner of the room. While she was of course young, this couldn’t have been normal... Then again, it was a new world. There was likely almost nothing that would be easy to understand there. If she hadn’t been so shocked at the sudden appearance, her repulsion at their words might’ve been more evident.
Before Cel could wrap her head around the being now standing with them, she felt her clothing practically disappear at the simple wave of their hand. She didn’t move. Remi had seen her body before and she had seen his when they went swimming together. She wasn’t shy about her body in the least, and the last thing she wanted to do right then was show weakness. She didn’t even think about Phoebe at first, trying to figure out what the hells they were facing.
It was difficult to pin down the exact feeling she was experiencing. It was almost like looking at several people occupying the same space, but they were surreally beautiful and brought a strange feeling to the woman. She was drawn to them, yet sound herself unable to move, practically hypnotized simply by being in their presence.
They snapped their fingers, and Cel suddenly felt her fingers wrapped around leather. She tore her eyes from the being, looking down at the whip that had appeared in her hand.
