Ronin was far from alone as he ran his paces. Roana regularly did this perimeter run. Almost every day in fact, depending on her boys and their level of consciousness in the morning. Today they were our cold so for a run she went!Staring straight back at me?
She got caught in the same rainstorm, her ponytail of drenched now nearl black hair slapping the back of her neck unpleasantly. But she simply ignored it, pressing forward with great ease. She may as well have been taking a leisurely stroll, not running as quickly as she could without sprinting based on how even her breaths were. As steady as it was though, it still hitched when she squinted at a figure up ahead, recognizing him quickly. "Ronin??" she called out, in utter shock. But...how?!
