Released from the need to play music and itching to let his feet do a bit of dancing while other people played, Jigano coasted the edges of the gathering in search of a familiar face. He wasn't intending to be picky - any of his friends would have been a delight to see, but when he spotted Vervain through the crowd his eyes lit up with joy. She wasn't alone, but as both she and he companion looked healthy and well he hoped they wouldn't mind a third wheel. She was swaying to the music but not properly dancing and that seemed a damn shame when the world was so wonderful and Jigano had a heart full of joy to share.
Slipping around to her front Jigano gave his friend a gallant bow, even finding a grin for the solemn little one in her arms. He wasn't just laying it on thick, he was shoveling, but there was laughter in his eyes and a lightness in his step that had been missing since long before he had arrived on Caido. "And who is you handsome partner, mistress Vervain? I don't believe we've been formally introduced yet!"
