"Just a little," he admitted with a laugh, leading them into the dance with a care for his partner and her precious cargo. He almost faltered at the mention of her daughter - and particularly her name. He recovered his steps quickly, but his eyes widened, some of the light fading from his smile. "Ashetta is your daughter?" he asked, voice pleasant but with a hint of caution in it. "Ashetta... the assassin?"

"As mistress of the establishment it was not only your right but practically your duty to get the dancing started!" he protested, teasing outrageously. "As a married woman I would only expect your husband to be the first to join you!" He winked roguishly, spinning away so she and Felix wouldn't have to, then returning to her side. "And I had hoped to speak to you of that very thing, but I rather thought this little one," he tipped a wink at Felix, "might have been proving a wee bit of a distraction, making his grand entrance to the world. No apologies are necessary, lovely Vai, though when you're feeling up for it your wisdom and grace would be more welcome than ever in our humble Hall."
