The main thing he’d decided on, was that he had to find out who he was, without those memories, those insecurities. As a person; not the heir, or a soldier, not even a son. First things first was to find out what he was good at, how he could fit in with this new world. He’d tried plenty of things, thought over many options, but always went back to exploring, to scouting. Perhaps it was the freedom of body, of knowing that you can run until you find what you’re looking for - or maybe freedom of mind, of knowing that you can imagine until you find the thing you’ve thought of. Whatever it was, it felt right. And so this was his start, and being an optimist he didn’t plan on worrying about the next step until he’d successfully finished this one.
It was with this first step in mind that Kiki stepped to the door of the guildhall, hovering for a moment outside and toying with the brass ring. With a smile, the sun drop opened the door and began to make his way down the stairs. The bottom of the stairs lead out into a long and cheerily lit hall, warmth seemed to emit from the light sources and accentuated the long table at the middle of the room, which was covered in books. Everywhere, books. Killian still couldn’t believe that his search for a job had lead him to a library, but that of course wasn’t the point.
And of course, pacing around in thought, there was Jigano. He smiled, glad to see the silver haired man. Jigano has in fact, made an impression on Killian, he had just felt like someone to look up to, and appreciate. ”Hey! I hope you don’t mind me coming in, I was wanting to talk to you,” he said in a friendly tone, scratching absently at the back of his head.
