"He turned into a lion and roared to scare them off and startled Caiside and Nairi quite badly... though I think afterwards he used his hawks to chase off the bats who were still stuck inside and had trouble getting out on their own?" He didn't remember a cat that day, but perhaps she had also been frightened by Remi, and had come out later? She looked like a sweet little thing, hardly the sort of feral feline he would have expected from a cat who had grown up on her own without human influence.
