Remi's blush was innocent and sweet, his smile unapologetically wide as he stared at his hands as the fox rose. "Oh so you make decisions for me now, do you ?" He chimed after him, thankful for the fox's turned back so that he could run a hand through his curls to try and steady his suddenly-racing heart.
With a quite laugh Remi shook his head. "You always know what to say." He observed with a grin, rising and striding over the stove that, if he thought hard about it, he'd be fairly certain had not been there the last time.
As Ianto began to speak, Remi's smile fell away. He watched how the mirth and mischevious glint that he associated with the fox seemed to dissolve, the weight that seemed to settle over him (or perhaps it was always there, just well-hidden). "Then I will make you shoes with springs on them. Or wings.." Remi said with a painful sort of optimism, reaching out to gentle brush his fingers against Ianto's hand.
"But...she helped you when you first came...surely your debt must end? Can she not find someone else to peddle her wares?"
