As Jigano tossed the stick he paused, eyes widening as the whole tree seemed to shift; not predatory, not malicious, merely in reaction to the stimuli. It’s branches visibly wrapped about the stick thrown at it, slow and methodical, but once they had encircled it there didn’t seem any possibility that it would let it go.
