Sugar soared in a moment later, as if sensing his discomfort, and the hunter couldn't help but let his smile grow a little warmer as he found a pale dragonling slung about his neck. "Not forgetting you, either. I know you'll eat anything," he remarked, before turning his attention back to Amalia.
"You don't have to apologise," he said slowly, shaking his head. "It hasn't been easy for anyone. Not for the people dropped in, not for those who grew up watching things like this happen.
