Ronin smiled across at Remi, pleasantly surprised to hear just how big an impact Ianto had been on his friend's life, but feeling gratitude rather than jealousy towards the fox. Remi could tie himself up in knots all by himself if left to his own devices - he'd learned that first hand. And since meeting with Ianto again, he'd not seen the alchemist so much like his old self.

"I've a hard enough teaching myself this astral projection thing I've got going on, let alone trying to help someone else learn!" And besides, as Remi was already surmising - he'd still have to choose, really.
Slowing further to sit on a nearby wall, Ronin arched an eyebrow up at his friend and folded his arms across his chest. "Don't stay because of those things," he said, choosing to cut through the flowery details in lieu of the hard truth. "Stay because you want to, because it would make you happy. And leave for the same reason. I just want you to be able to smile and not look back, whatever your choice."
