Roana smirked, glad to see that Are could at least follow orders. He charged at her, but she remained steadfast, unmoving from her spot. She would not lose ground, not today. As his axe swung down, she continued to stand still, smirk still curving her lips. At the very last second her arm shot up and grabbed his wrist, stopping the descent as easily as if she had caught a pillow in her hand.

”Lesson one: never leave an opening for your opponent to take advantage of.” she said with a grin. In an instant she lifted a leg and kicked forward, aimed at his chest, to send Are flying back. Only when she was sure that her kick would connect would she let go of his wrist, otherwise he would remain steadfast in her hold.
