Are
The ease with which she wielded the fearsome blade had Are fooled, at least until he grabbed the hilt and the full weight of the mighty sword almost made him fall over. He dropped his shield a hair from his toes as he grabbed Krosis with both hands. He felt the heft of it and admired it up close for a few moments, it must've been worth a fortune, at least it would have been back in Midgård. Even the simplest of short swords, not even a third of the length and weight would've been worth a few months wages at least.

He took a few tentative swings, allowing the weight to pull the gleaming blade through a deadly arc or two. As it moved he was astounded at how it almost felt weightless, so exquisite was the craftsmanship that he couldn't tell it was swinging until it came to bringing it to bear again. But oh how he felt it, his arms where already tired from the sparring and burned after only enough movement to tell the blade was well beyond his capabilities to wield. So with a small bow he offered Roana back her sword.

"By the Gods, that thing is immense!" he exclaimed, not sure if he was more more impressed with the weapon or the one throwing it around as if it was nothing. "But I can see it, craftsman and all, I appreciate good handiwork when I see it. It is truly a magnificent weapon." Are said with a voice seemingly spellbound by the grace and deadliness of it. It also got him thinking. "I should fight with my strengths, right? Something long maybe, a spear or a great long axe?" his meandering thoughts on what sharp tool he needed started to muddy the waters, but he breathed for a moment and found the focus again. "Training though. That's what's most sorely needed."
