It had been 'eating' people and then trapping them within its pages, not letting them finish the story and return, so we weren't given much chance for humor." From gorgon to clockwork golems to an ancient dracolich, they had found themselves hurled from one dangerous encounter to the next, with little chance to catch their breath in between!
