Ianto
"Mm... Ianto said unhelpfully in response, not enjoying the awkwardness between them and wanting nothing more than to wrap Remi up in his arms, to hold him and check he was alright and to apologise over and over about what he'd allowed to happen. Instead, he let the alchemist create more distance between them, the thumb ghosting across his palm like a memory.
His question, though, turned Ianto's blood to ice; shakily the fox shook his head no, before realising Remi couldn't see. Because Arduinna had blinded him. "I had no idea," he half whispered. "I swear it. I thought... I thought it would hurt me, when you tried to take it off. I was prepared for it to hurt me."
And oh, but it had. Just... not in any way he could have possibly imagined.
