It wasn't a smile that lasted very long, unfortunately, and Ianto couldn't help but sound a bit bruised as he had to reiterate, again, the nature of his relationship with Arduinna.
"It isn't my call to say whether it's worth the effort, sorry," he mumbled. "I would like to leave well enough alone, given the choice. The Hollowed Grounds are in need of a merchant like me more than the Fae."
