The spiders were driven away rather quickly, with all of them stomping and smacking. The bites looked painful, sympathy wincing across his face as he saw the raised red welts on her arms, though it couldn't be helped by the long raised lines she was drawing herself. Caiside didn't know what could soothe her, but raised his captured spiders up, as if simply looking at them could impart upon him some knowledge.

All he could discern was that the crawly beasts didn't look overly dangerous, any more musings were interrupted by the sound of yet more danger, the rumbling and cracking of rubble falling, and worse, the screams and pained noises of those who had been caught in it. With an arm raised to keep the dust away from his mouth and nose, Caiside turned towards the source of the shouting, his eyes squited against the haze and is legs taking him closer. Rory and Melita both were already helping, alleviating the weight where they could, along with a dozen other hands.

Caiside didn't jump in alongisde them immediately, his eyes looking over the pile of rocks, and those trapped under them, trying to work out some strategy to get the worst of the load off and get the people out.Nothing came to mind, he would know what to do if this were a pile of packed snow and ice, but a rockslide was just different enough that his knowledge wasn't useful. Without another thought, Caiside  swooped in to assist, focusing on removing the rubble with some thought behind what he moved, freeing extremities and offering some breathing room without shifting the weight onto tender points.

Where there was not callous built up on his hands from his work, there was now torn skin. As distant and aloof he tried to remain, Caiside could not stand idly by and let tragedy befall the day. He removed all that he could, muttering encouragement to the trapped citizens while he did.

Caiside
I have never been allowed to be Holy,
I have never been forgiven for Wanting;
