He didn't really care about the conversation those two were having. Frankly it wasn't any of his business. He honestly was trying to find some peace and quiet, but his curiosity and desire to assist someone had distracted him momentarily. His offering was accepted, and the man was quick to compliment and inquire who he was. He pulled his hand away only to continue with his search, fingers fiddling anything he could grab to sort through. As he did so, the woman also introduced herself, before sending the first man a look he couldn't see. Pulling out a dark pebble that looked similar to the onyx and bringing it closer for inspection, he gave a simple answer,"Vynter White."
Abruptly standing he moved further downstream, before kneeling down in hopes of finding more of what this man wanted. When set with a task Vynter often was good at sticking to it, unless something of greater interest caught his attention. For the moment he was perfectly content searching among the river bottom for onyx, though mostly curious as to what the stranger needed it for. During his search a silver fish slipped between his legs, causing him to startle back and fall into the water. It took him a moment to reassess his surroundings, and as soon as he did he was up and quickly searching the water for more fish.
