Vervain
A garish ruin greeted them, Vervain holding her bow at the ready with an arrow already knocked, ready to draw and fire at the first sign of trouble. Her feet moved carefully around the jagged stones and the patterns created by the strange plant (a plant that screamed don't fucking touch me, as far as she was concerned). Delah's question was lost on her - she didn't know what they were down here for or what they were looking for, but she hoped one of the others might.
In the meantime, while Deimos went to explore and conversations were had which she couldn't hope to understand, Vai straightened up and reached deep within herself to the core of her magic. Around them the air would begin to stir again, but it was with no small amount of effort that she teased and nudged the gas to a level that was just above their heads, hopefully making the going easier for all involved.
Vai readies her bow and works on clearing the air for the group.
