Melita is not so lucky; the baker laughs merrily at her companion, enjoying the younger girl's exuberance. "You have something on your face- wait, I'll fix it " Grinning, she sticks a finger in the mortar and swipes a matching line on the flame-haired girl's other cheek. "There. Now you're balanced." Snacking on sandwiches for which she'd made the bread, Amalia throws herself onto a shady patch of ground while Jigano explains the upcoming steps. A nod of understanding: flying is something she can do. Finishing up her food, the girl rises before shifting down, her body shrinking and changing to become the owl.
