They had gone from confessing their feelings to engaged in less than a month, and so the alchemist was more than prepared for a questioning look as he broke the news.

"You never really know how much you love someone until they are gone...and so when Ronin came back.." Remi trailed off, shaking his head ever so slightly. "And with how often I find myself cursed and with Ronin's knack for getting himself killed, I did not want to wait."
