She snorted, giggling at his protests as she released him and twisted away, scooting across the forest floor on her side. "You struggle, obviously. I'm teachin' you how the game is played, but I can't do all the work for you!" At arm's length away she rose again to her knees, brushing herself down, picking leaves from her clothing and hair.
"Look, Mister Silversmith-" Pap clasped one hand around her fist as she leaned forward, beseeching him in sort of hunched bow. "I know you're not exactly enjoying yourself, but I think you'd do real nice at this." She straightened up, cracking her knuckles and extending her fist once more. "I want you to try it out, yeah? You think you got the idea? I want you to move first this time, we can start slow so you get a grasp on it if you want!" Beaming pleasantly, she waited.
"Just try to uh... keep your breathing calm. When you start to panic, that's when you lose. Just try to focus on where you're putting your hands and feet..." She paused. "And don't think about it like that. We're training."
