Amalia pants as she continues to run, her speed falling dramatically with the exertion and heat. Frequent glances are sent back to the hunter, though as the chase continues she becomes steadily more certain this is not right. In tighter and tighter circles she leads, looping and coiling until she reaches the place where she last saw him fall, ready to leap over the man, her body pulled tight into a spring--
What she doesn't expect is for him to stand up. Feline eyes widening, the big cat twists and yelps, her body spinning in the air so it is her softer belly that flies toward him, rather than her claws. With an oof she crashes into Ronin before falling, sprawling onto the floor and maybe the man himself. Dazed a moment, the cat can only lie there breathing deeply, trying to catch her bearings and her breath.
