When the witch returned and gave her report, Phoebe nodded in understanding. ”That is true, all the more reason to try their antidotes. Whatever they treat our plants with might ward off the parasites.” she explained.
With everything ready, it was time to experiment. First, Phoebe took a small piece of blighted moss and placed it in an untreated container with the healthy moss. ”That will be our control.” she explained to the group. Then she treated the remaining healthy moss containers before placing blighted bits of moss in with them.
”Now we wait. Write down any changes you see.”
