Hitching in a breath, Remi tightens the arm encircling Ronin's waist as his too-pale stare focuses on the wild fae who is a smear of crimson stains in his field of vision. Heart beating wildly in his chest, Remi suddenly lets go of his partner, mumbling some apologetic sound. Though Arduinna seems entirely focused on the Undine, the alchemist won't take the chance that her attention will waiver and fall upon her once-victim. Whether or not she knows about he and Ronin is not something he is willing to risk.
Moving to the opposite side of the pool with as much dexterity and stealth as he can muster, Remi pulls softly at the tree-boughs around him. He thickens the leaves growing on them, hoping to obfuscate his appearance entirely from the wild vision-stealing witch.
His position sufficiently obscured (or so he hoped), Remi reached out with his magic once more to gently coax more lichen into existence around the Undine.
