It crossed his mind that it was possible Melita could have...ulterior motives. Not malicious ones, but it wouldn't be the first time he'd received seemingly extravagant gifts from near-strangers. With an understanding nod, he asked: "Hey, if you're doing this cos you fancy me, I really appreciate that and all, but I think I've only got one night stands in me at the moment." i'd trade my life and health, to make people pay attention.
