It surprises the Harpy, just how much they appear to be evenly matched. His voice even surprises her as he calls back to her — a hum of music to her ears, surrounded by cheering and oohs and ahhhs from above. A wolfish grin forms on her lips as he dodges her blade, elegantly rolling and dipping away from it to throw his own to her. And with it, there’s a laugh that bubbles from her chest, something akin to a wolf’s howl.
The blade soars toward her, and she dodges it too with a not so elegant roll — halfway through, she shifts into her vulture and takes off, soaring toward the Ascended with sharp talons out, aiming to scar, to grab, to break.
Kiada shifts into her vulture form and tries to strike out at Lucas with her talons.
