RONIN
"Not picky?" Ronin raised an eyebrow, as if that said more about Adam than simply his taste in bed. Still, it wasn't his place to pry (however accidentally he was doing just that when it came to the other man's drinking habits) and so he let the subject drop. A warm laugh escaped his lips at Adam's appraisal of the army, and Ronin gave an easy shrug. "That's what I figured too! Shame that my superiors - my older brother being one of them - didn't really agree."
And so it was that Ronin had actually done the work, and it had fucked about with him just as his new friend had advised.
He could tell a reluctant conversation when he stumbled into one, at least, the hunter raising a glass in a 'cheers' of apology. "No offence meant," he said. "I've been there. For a time I cut drink out completely. But times change, as they say."
