She orients herself among the pillows, sapphire eyes slipping toward Lucas when he speaks, a quirk of a smile creeping on the corners of her lips. “Ah, yes, I imagine Frey wouldn’t appreciate their blessed child to be Ascended. Besides, maybe I missed my brand and the ability to see the blood on my fingers.” She hums thoughtfully, before she leans toward him — extending a hand to trace along his arm should he let her.
