"Corrupted ascended fluid?" He repeated, trying not to sound quite as skeptical as he felt. "What...does that even mean?" Remi had seen their fluid before, in Sam's tears and...apparently other bodily fluids as well, but as for being corrupted? Later the alchemist would be in a position to confirm that indeed, it did come from the ascended. Or at least was spread by them. But that was several threads away, and so for the time being, the alchemist focused on the fluid-hypothesis.
