She had given him what he really wanted without fuss. Why, now, did he need to continue to poke and prod her? "I have those things." she said dryly. His offer was useless, just one more way to insert himself into her life that would only benefit him. "What I don't have is someone who loves me first and foremost. If you can find that you'll be a miracle worker." she said, intending to send him on a wild goose chase.
