Well, things had imploded, as much as she had hoped they wouldn’t. And yet, the notice had been posted, and she had a wedding to plan. The show would go on, so to speak, and so she focused on it, sending invites out to who might be interested in joining her with the planning of the event, before posting one to the notice board in the hopes of someone might come wishing to help. Bastien had his own going on, and so she had managed to remain indoors of her own home, planning her separate section of it, while the world around them seemed to burn and burn and burn.
But she needed a dress, needed a bouquet, needed ring boxes and general ideas of décor. She knew Bastien was handling most of that, but it couldn’t hurt to have a bit of the both of them among the event.
And so, she remained awake prepping the home for anything they would need, plenty of extra cloth and fabric for creating the dress. The only hard part would be the bouquet, but she imagined once they had the design of it down, when the time came it would be easy to put together. And she waited for them to show.
