AMALIA
meet me where the falling stars live
In light the trio works to plant their roses, each one finding a suitable place: the crater where once a demon expired, the entrance to an ill-fated abyss, a sheltered shadow in the shade of the tower. Together they work on their given assignments, readying holes for their roses to bloom. Though the ground is frozen, tainted by death, the trio is easily able to break through it- though not without being seen.

The attack is sudden and two pronged, one by land and one by air. The harpy swoops down with feral fury, her claws outstretched as she dives toward her prey, a larger and far more deadly foe. Perhaps it is the scream she utters, perhaps the blight simply muddles her thoughts: whatever it is, she misses Remi by a mile, the manticore escaping without a scratch.

The otter, too, is fortunate, though her brush with danger is a closer thing. The fox is a white wraith on the snow, almost invisible but for the black saliva that drips from his teeth like so much tar. From the corner of her eye Amalia spots him, and it is only by luck she is able to escape, using her smaller size and mobility to dodge out of her corrupt friend's way.

Clutching the rose against her chest, Amalia leaps to a nearby snow bank, scarcely avoiding Jigano's claws. Jigano! she cries, panic in her dark eyes, leaping away before circling back to where her hole is dug. Plant your roses! she calls to her friends, frantically trying to place the roots before another onslaught occurs. Don't let them stop us- we have to do it for them!

Jigano attacks Amalia and misses!
Kiada attacks Remi and misses!
Deimos is not attacked!
