He wonders if it’s a losing battle, if it’s not worth arguing with himself and simply trying it, before someone nearly trips over him. With the mental state he’s in, the black veins that drift through his hands and eyes, he looks up as the man clears his throat and leans on his staff. He’s not that old, but based off the appearance, he notes the white hair immediately. It’s enough to distract him long enough from the feeling in his chest. But he doesn’t respond immediately. Instead, he shifts his attention to the snow that’s falling while he battles with controlling his breathing. And then he inhales deeply and moves to stand.
“Sorry I got in the way.” He offers quietly instead, a thickly accented rumble as he leans against the edge of the bone bridge, glancing down to the man slightly. “It’s been a long month, is all.” He offers, to answer the question. He doesn’t know Jigano, and frankly the man doesn’t need to know his afflictions. But he could probably guess, as he folds his arms across his chest, and his fingers and hands shake uncontrollably though he tries to pretend he doesn’t notice.
