Steel eyes drift toward Jigano with the small amount of surprise that crosses his face – a blink, of all. But he’s seen that look before, he knows what it could mean. But he passes over it, easily, forgetting for the moment anything else that might distract him from the question the bard had asked, and Sunjata’s own apology. And he watches while Jigano shakes his head to the words the man speaks. His shoulders rising and falling in a shrug, as though it was obvious, but the apology was the nice thing to do, and he’s somewhat surprised he’s chosen that route.

His fingers curl into the edges of the sleeves he wears, arms folded across while they tremble somewhat. And soon enough, Jigano is continuing on. A nod of agreement sent his way, before introductions. “Sunjata.” He offers roughly, deeply, accented thickly with an accent somewhat similar to Kiada’s secondary tongue – though he doesn’t know the girl. “We haven’t met as far as I’m aware.” He offers with a quiet shrug, glancing away from the Sage. “Loreseekers Guild, though? Books and what not?” He questions casually, uncertain how to continue with the conversation, but seeking something out to keep his mind from racing toward the inevitable.
