The accent was curious, and normally something Jigano might have itched to pursue. Today, with the blight still creeping through him, it was all he could do not to furrow his brow in vague annoyance at having to work a little harder to understand what Sunjata was saying. He managed it, though, keeping a blandly neutral expression on his face as he nodded a greeting at the introduction and tucked the name away for future reference. He did allow the faint relaxation of relief show through at hearing that they hadn't met before - at least he hadn't done anything to this stranger, who looked as though he had enough blight-caused problems of his own.
The question took that relief to a ghost of a smile and Jigano nodded as he began to walk again, quirking a brow at Sunjata in silent request to join him. "Books, yes, but especially 'what not.'" The phrasing amused him even through his melancholy. "Lore can be found in many places. In the stories told by elders, in songs passed down through generations, hidden away in ruined strongholds, or discovered in the Woods and waters and plains. But books are an important resource, too, and the Atheneum provides both a place to work from and a trove of knowledge already at our fingertips." He looked to the other man, curiosity sparking rebelliously through the blackness that still stained his eyes. "And what of you, Sunjata? What do you do, and what do you seek?"
