So he shoves his hands into his pockets, glancing back toward the shrine with a quiet contemplative look as the questions land.
“Well, for Lusea, her arrival here was seconds after she died. It has been three years for me.” He explains a bit more roundabout. “And before we were captured, I asked her to run away from Korofi with me — to go to Dorobo and forget about everything that happened to us.” A quick explanation of the events. “And she died, arrived here seconds after, only to see that I was with someone else. I had told Phoebe about her, and when I saw Lusea when Phoebe brought her back to the clinic it was like seeing a ghost. But she was there, living, breathing. Phoebe just left. Said she wasn’t going to stick around and left her own clinic. So that was the end of that.” He rolls his shoulders slightly.
