Like a shadow needing to be attached at every point, it was less likely that it was things on the floor tripping Ronin up, so much as it was Remi's continually pawing at absolutely everything he could get his hands on. To be fair, other than Ianto's tidying, Remi had done almost nothing around the house. When your daughter was maybe a 15 year old all of a sudden and your husband was dying in jail, doing chores seemed entirely unimportant.
Fighting to strip Ronin of his shirt and pants while also trying to do the same with his own, the alchemist growled a low note of deep dissatisfaction. Momentarily giving up and pinning Ronin against the door instead, Remi pressed a hasty and somewhat sloppy kiss against the king's lips as his hands wandered greedily to his waist. If this was some clever ploy on the part of the blight monster, Remi didn't care. He'd suffer whatever consequences if only for the opportunity to be with his husband in a meaningful sense. It wasn't about the sex (or rather, not just about the sex), but having his husband responsive and better, even if only temporarily, was worth whatever cost it might incur.
With fingers punctuated by long claws Remi started to tear Ronin's shirt off of him, using the jagged bits of claws to cut away where the cloth had been melded to his husband's skin by blood and sweat.
