Jigano might’ve been a bard but Loren had been trained in spycraft, so he knew to watch the eyes. Someone’s face might smile, but their eyes would always betray the truth. However, he didn’t know what the bard was thinking, so the summoner was just glad to see a real hint of a smile on the white-haired man’s lips as the Launceleyn proved himself once again quite ignorant.
