While she’s mostly focused on his attacks, his arched brow and comment ping a little something inside Wessex. How does he know what she’s ‘doing.’ And if he can still see in that funny blind way, why is it all of a sudden fascinating?
“Remi…?” Wessex responds, once the vines disappear and the boulders start to form. She’s cut off before she can say anything else, though, as the five come at her and she manages to duck, roll, and slide past three of them, the fourth goes astray, but the fifth manages to hit her in the hip, sending her jerking back. There’s no sound of pain, of course, but she does manage a vocalization of frustration and sends out a sharp bio-pulse towards the man. He may be too far away to feel much of anything, but a small retaliation does wonders for her sense of perfectionism. That, and she's not trying to punish him for helping her train.
“There’s something different about you.” She can’t figure out what it is right now. But give her time after this spar and she just might get it.
