"Then perhaps we ought to have left it longer before we got married, so you could understand what it was to be with someone," he ventured, not remotely implying that he regretted it, but similarly finding it hard to believe that for all of the acts Remi had ever put on, realising that one did not offer oneself out for kisses and bites when one was in a relationship was not on the radar. Frowning a touch at the hands that came to touch his cheeks, Ronin glanced up with tired blue eyes, his gaze soft and sad and accepting. "You have me," he said with a shrug. "I'm here, I forgive you.
