Swift feet take her along the calling until she reaches the point where she’s become familiar, despite knowing she’s not supposed to be there. Despite knowing they’re all not supposed to be there. But she spots Sam, dear Sam… and Lucas, right when he lobs the spear to the tree. And her sapphire eyes lift toward the Mathair, bright and brilliant, and she can’t help but to feel a pang of sadness for such a monumental task.
Are they to destroy it?
There’s a part of her that screams yes, and against her better judgement, against what she wishes to do, she stands beside Lucas with a light smirk sent his way in greeting — hands lifting in preparation of pulling the fireworks from within her to shoot at the sparking tree. She’s ready, she just doesn’t know if she should yet.
